Metroid Dread is a 2D platformer/Metroidvania game developed by MercurySteam and published by Nintendo. It was released on the Wii U in 2016, and later ported to the Switch in 2018. The player controls Samus Aran as she explores Dairon, a planet corrupted by Dark Aether. The game features a number of weapons that can be used to fight enemies and solve puzzles.
The metroid dread darion map is a map of the game’s entire world. It can be used to find all 100% completion items and areas in the game.
Samus Aran is ultimately transported to Dairon, a mechanical environment near Planet ZDR’s core, in Metroid Dread. This region, like the rest of the world, is full with hidden weapons and goods, and you’ll want to find them all to improve your chances of survival.
Upgrades like Energy Tanks, Missile Expansions, and Power Bomb Tanks are strewn around the globe, and each time you pick one up, it boosts Samus’ stats. At Dairon, you’ll find them all in one location.
Missile Tank #1 [+2] | Morph Ball, Bombs are required.
You may acquire this as soon as you get the Bomb ability. You can blast through a piece of the floor, as well as several horizontal blocks in the following room. You’ll need to perform a Morph Ball leap to go past them and beyond the elevated Bomb Block protecting the Missile Pack.
Missile Tank #2 [+2] | Morph Ball, Bombs are required.
You’ll utilize Bombs to ride Morph Ball Launchers shortly after obtaining them. When you approach a chamber with a launcher on the top and bottom of the screen, you must come to a halt. There are some hidden Bomb Blocks between them that you may blast away by deploying a Bomb in mid-flight. Roll on through, eliminating any barriers that are preventing you from getting to that delicious, sweet Missile Tank.
Requirements: Missile Tank #3 [+2] Missile Tank #3 [+2] Missile Tank #3 [+2] Missile Tank #3 [+ None
Stop and gaze up at the ceiling after the next Morph Ball Launcher ride. Here you may fire several Beam Blocks that have been concealed. After that, pull yourself up to acquire a new Missile Expansion.
Missile Tank #4 [+2] | Grapple Beam is required.
This Missile Tank may be found in the vast chamber under the EMMI Zone’s easternmost section. Swing to the nook in the corner gripping it with the Grapple Points from the top ledge.
Morph Ball, Spider Magnet, Grapple Beam, Varia Suit | Dairon Power Bomb Tank #1 | Requirements: Morph Ball, Spider Magnet, Grapple Beam, Varia Suit
Shoot the concealed Beam Blocks on the left to unlock the tunnel, which is directly next to the elevator to Artaria. It’s sweltering in there, so don’t go in without your Varia Suit. After that, Grapple Beam up to the magnetic portion of the ceiling, destroy the Missile Blocks, and roll over to the Power Bomb Tank.
Part 1: Energy | Prerequisites: Wide Beam, Morph Ball, and Varia Suit
An Energy Part may be found southeast of the Purple Teleportal in the volcanic area. You just need the Varia Suit to acquire it, but if you want to be safe, you may want to wait for the Gravity Suit. Enter the extremely hot chamber with the Wide Beam and make your way down to the platforms where the Part is kept. With your Morph Ball, roll through the opening and timing your leap to reach the ledge where the reward is hidden. On the way out, you may just dabble your toes in the lava.
Part 2: Energy | Requirements: Speed Booster
This may be located immediately next to the Central Unit, but you must first beat the EMMI in order to get the Speed Booster ability. Charge up your speed and smash through the Speed Booster Blocks near the entryway with that equipped. Then hop up to the cubby where the Energy Part is kept.
Missile Tank #5 [+2] | Speed Booster is required.
Head to the middle of the EMMI Zone in Dairon after you’ve cleared it and obtained the Speed Booster ability. A dead-end chamber containing Speed Booster Blocks on its eastern border may be found here. Get some speed and sprint past those bastards to the other side, where you’ll discover a Missile Tank.
Missile Tank #6 [+10] | Speed Booster is required.
In the tiny non-EMMI Zone portion that links to parts of the EMMI Zone proper, there’s another Speed Booster puzzle. Begin by sprinting to the right from underneath the Ammo Recharge Station, utilizing a wall leap to maintain momentum and perform a U-turn. Slide through the Speed Booster blocks on the opposite side and perform some more wall leaps. If done properly, they will take you straight through the Missile+ Tank’s blocks.
Speed Booster | Energy Tank | Requirements:
In Dairon’s south-central portion, there is a tiny space that links two sections of the EMMI Zone. After passing through it, you’ll come to a large corridor at the bottom of a towering vertical shaft. Charge up a Shinespark by running left to right, then rocket to the top of the long shaft. On your way down, you may grasp the ledge that holds the Energy Tank.
Part 3: Energy | Requirements: Bombs and a Speed Booster
In the top-eastern portion of the EMMI Zone, Speed Booster Blocks flank a short corridor. To get to the area below the Energy Part, approach from the west and zoom through them. The Cross Bomb ability makes it simpler to acquire this, but it isn’t necessary. Instead, you may utilize the concealed Missile Block to clear the path to the ceiling shaft, then use some fast Bomb leaps to clear the way.
Missile Tank #7 [+2] | Speed Booster is required.
This Missile Tank can be found near the tram from Cataris, but you won’t be able to acquire it until you’ve earned the Speed Booster. Return to the big cavern after you’ve obtained it and speed up by sprinting left to right. To get to the top of the cavern, use a Shinespark leap to propel yourself through several Speed Booster Blocks. You may then dive down and grasp the ledge that holds the Tank.
Missile Tank #8 [+2] | Morph Ball, Cross Bomb are required.
By the EMMI Zone’s top-left exit, there’s a difficult series of blocks. To demolish the first block, Morph Ball jumps into the air and drops a Bomb (or Cross Bomb). Now you must rapidly fire off all four Missile Blocks and roll up to the floor’s breakaway area. Before the Missile Blocks return, drop a Cross Bomb to scoot yourself over the Missile Tank. This one is a pain in the neck.
Missile Tank #9 [+2] | Morph Ball, Speed Booster, Screw Attack are required.
In the bottom section of the chilly sector, there’s a Speed Booster puzzle that will take two rounds of running to complete. First, acquire speed by running to the left from the ice, storing a Shinespark, jumping to the ledge, and shooting yourself through the wall. On the opposite side, you’ll have to Screw Attack your way through some blue blocks. Drop into a chamber with a few opponents after rolling down the Morph Ball tunnel. Remove them, then Speed Boost through the left-hand wall, revealing the Missile Tank as you crash through.
Charge Beam, Grapple Beam, Varia Suit, Space Jump | Missile Tank #10 [+2] | Requirements: Charge Beam, Grapple Beam, Varia Suit, Space Jump
A Missile Tank may be found in the map’s volcanic area. Shoot through the Beam Blocks and use your Charge Beam to unlock the door below the lava pool (shown) east of the lower Network Station. Space Jump across the lava to the right side of the next chamber and work your way up. You may grab the Tank by removing the Grapple Beam Block and tucking into the Morph Ball tunnel.
Missile Tank #11 [+2] | Requirements: Gravity Suit, Speed Booster
You may descend into the lava below after you have the Gravity Suit. Run across the lava to the right-hand wall with the Speed Booster to burst through and expose another Missile Tank.
Requirements: Speed Booster, Space Jump, Gravity Suit | Energy Part #4
In Dairon’s chilly area, there’s a very tough Speed Booster puzzle. A series of Speed Booster bricks sits above it, but getting to them is the difficult part. Starting from the ice in the bottom corner, we hopped to the ledge on the left, storing a Shinespark leap. From there, use the Space Jump to rapidly climb to the ledge with the blocks, then rocket into them as soon as you land. You’ll make it if you move quickly enough. On the opposite side of the next door, you’ll discover an Energy Part.
Missile Tank #12 [+2] | Morph Ball, Spider Magnet, Wave Beam are required.
This Missile Tank may be located just above the Speed Booster Blocks that lead to the preceding Missile Tank. You can fire an exploding sac on the opposite side if you cling to the Spider Magnet wall there and aim through it with the Wave Beam. You’ll be able to roll through and grab the Tank as it explodes.
Morph Ball, Grapple Beam, Storm Missile, Space Jump, Cross Bomb | Dairon Power Bomb Tank #2 | Requirements:
A Storm Missile Box may be found in the tiny non-EMMI Zone portion that links to the EMMI Zone itself. To open the path ahead, shoot all the targets surrounding you – you’ll need to jump and aim the final one in the air, then rapidly fire your Missiles. Space To get to the Morph Ball tunnel, jump up and over the water. Drop a Cross Bomb inside, then roll out onto the Beam Blocks and swiftly pull out the Grapple Beam Block before they return. You may now roll down the tunnel and bomb through the blocked route. Around the curve is where you’ll discover the Power Bomb Tank.
Dairon Power Bomb Tank #3 | Morph Ball, Power Bomb are required.
In the top EMMI Zone, this Power Bomb is clearly visible. Drop a Power Bomb and collect it by rolling through the hole.
