The “house of ashes walkthrough” is a horror novel that follows the story of a group of friends as they enter into an abandoned house. The house has been inhabited by strange and frightening creatures, and the only way to escape is to solve puzzles and unravel the mysteries hidden within each room.
The Dark Pictures Anthology: House of Ashes, like previous Supermassive Games games, has a series of collecting stone tablets. These tablets provide foreshadowing of potential events, allowing players to see how a character can die or be rescued in the future.
There are a total of 13 premonitions, with the last tablet serving as an unique premonition that, during the end credits, unlocks a trailer for the next game in the series, The Devil In Me. Check out our list below to see every premonition sorted by chapter in order of occurrence.
Players take control of Balathu throughout the game’s prologue. The first premonition may be located sitting on top of a pile of bones immediately before the door that advances the game after getting full 3D mobility with him in the catacombs.
Rachel interrogates several farmers when she arrives in Iraq. A QTE prompt gives you the option of shooting one of the captives with Jason’s gun’s butt. The second premonition may be found on top of a dresser in the room’s corner.
For the time being, disregard the entrance to the next section once Jason and Nick have regrouped underneath. Instead, go to the left of the entrance, which is marked by a light beam streaming down from above. In the little chamber at the bottom of this stairs, the tablet is sitting on the ground.
There will be a dead corpse in front of a stairway going to the next location during the first part, in which players assume control of Salim below. For the time being, disregard the corpse and the stairwell. This prophecy may be found on the ground inside one of the archways if you turn left.
Players take control of Eric and follow Rachel’s instructions. Rather of following her through the whole segment, take a right at the lone split in the trail to get the foreshadowing at the conclusion.
The Temple is a sacred place.
Rachel and Eric descend a colossal abyss to reach the center of a gigantic temple. There will be two stairwells in this area. One leads to a massive entrance, while the other features a statue guarding the stairwell. Turn right at the bottom of the steps in the direction of the statue. One of the chambers at the end of this hidden passageway is where the premonition is resting.
Nick and Jason come upon a room that has been boobytrapped with a tripwire. The premonition may be found on top of a box sitting against a vase before moving on to the next area. Because it’s at eye level and lighted by a light source, it’s tough to overlook.
Examine the corner of this room after observing the pool of blood with Nick, Eric, and Jason. It’s resting on the ground, among other things, in the opposite direction of the essential route.
The players are dropped into the same catacombs as Balathu from the prologue. This prophecy may be found on top of a vast mound of skeletons, adjacent to a skeleton who is still dressed. After approaching the area, look to your right for this death mound.
This foreshadowing occurs just at the start of Nick’s playable scene. It’s difficult to miss since, despite the fact that Nick is facing the wrong way, the prompt appears on screen because he’s standing right in front of it.
My Enemy’s Enemy
Jason and Salim are isolated from the other members of the team. They team together to move a large door, creating a blockage that stops Jason from entering. Ignore the vital route given by the light source ahead of you after clearing the roadblock for Jason. Instead, look for the premonition on a wall in the dark passageway at the corner of this chamber.
You may locate the premonition on the ground to your right in front of the enormous luminous tree after Salim and Jason utilize the elevator shaft to get farther beneath.
Aeons of Strangeness
Everyone who is still alive gathers inside a strange chamber with a body of water after surviving the army of cocooned monsters. Head to the corner of the room directly to the right of your starting location before interacting with the item in the centre. The prophecy may be found atop a little box overlooking the river.
